In the POA movie, Hermione describes some characteristics of a werewolf, one being it cannot resist a female werewolf's call. Later on in the film, to save Harry's life, she lures Lupin!werewolf away from Harry by howling. My point, you ask? Getting there...J.K. said that she was surprised to see a few things in the movie which foreshadow events coming in the last two books. Is is possible that Hermione might one day become a werewolf?

That's an interesting thought. It could happen, say something was wrong with Remus during a night with a full me. Hermione trys to help him and gets herself bitten.

This particular bit in the movie just popped out of the screen at me. Hermione also tried to communicate with Lupin/werewolf right after he transformed- another odd bit because she said knew that werewolfs are unaware of their human side. She even stated in their Dark Arts class that the werewolf would attack the closest of friends because he loses all human qualities. Whereas when Sirius transforms into a dog, he remembers friends and such.

True as well. But it might also mean that Hermione becomes an expert on werewolves, and that she will be the one to discover a healing potion, now that I think about it. She said she wanted to take SPEW a bit further, she always faught for the rights of the non-humen.

Well, she isn't - yet. I just found that part of the movie rather interesting.
