Just curious. Although I loved the film visually (goodness it was eye candy!) I think it missed so much. Hermione got alot of Ron's lines and Ron was mostly there just as comic relief. Sad really. Ron is much more than just some bloke mugging it up and Rupert is brilliant as Ron- just needed more of him.

I will honestly buy the DVD only to have the entire set one day. It's hard to explain what I don't like about the movie, but I will try. From all the three movies this one has the most details. The details are closer to the book really, but they got all the details just a tiny bit wrong, which made the movie not true to the book. The first two movies didn't have any details at all, but at least the main story was the same, so the only thing to say there is "I wish they had more detail". This is entirely not the case with PoA. Here are the "details" they got all wrong: - Dementors do not fly, they hover (biggest one for my taste) - the Dementors were NOT after Harry during the Quidditch match - Harry didn't see a shadow of the Grim in the clouds, he saw Sirius in the stands - Dementors do NOT look like Caspar - the Dementor's hand on the train was NOT dry - Draco didn't whine, when Hermione hit him, he was too stunned to say anything at all - Hermione did not appear out of thin air, because of the time-turner, she dissapears into thin air - Harry didn't do magic over the summer, until he blew up his aunt - Peter Pettigrew didn't look like a rat, he just behaved like one; the one in the movie looks like a cartoon There are some more, but I can't think of them right now... maybe later.

It's strange that JK says this is her favorite of all three films. I was a bit surprised when she said that. I think they went a bit over the top with artistic license on this one. I must state once again it was beautiful visually but the script left much to be desired.
things that bugged me were: - no mention or the origin of the Maurader's map - HATED the ending with Harry riding around on his broom (they're joking, right) - the big Quidditch game against Slytherin. Where was it you ask, Well so am I. - Draco being a wimp.

Can't believe I forgot those, but then there is so much wrong with the movie, how can someone think of everything Well, I believe JK says she likes the movie, because she is suppose to. As a writer you can't go into the world and say "I had hope for the new director, but he is crap." But then he didn't get another movie, and I think that is the reason. ;D
